Calgary Neuromuscular Group
The Neuromuscular Clinic focuses on the assessment, medical management, and rehabilitation needs of people with neuromuscular disorders (e.g., ALS, Myasthenia Gravis, Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating polyneuropathy, Myopathies, Guillan Barre, muscular dystrophies, diabetic peripheral neuropathy, spinal muscular atrophies, etc.).
The Neuromuscular Program in the Dept of Clinical Neurosciences, University of Calgary and Alberta Health Services, is comprised of neurologists, nurses, research associates, allied health care professionals, and administrative staff - collaborates with a variety of services within AHS to provide holistic patient-centred health & provides innovative diagnostic evaluation and multidisciplinary therapeutic services for people with these disorders of peripheral nerves, muscles, & neuromuscular junction. The integration of various health care resources both within Calgary and the surrounding area impacts a large patient population & enhances care.

The Cancer Clinical Research Unit (CCRU) coordinates and supports protocol management and clinical/translational research projects identified by the academic staff of LRCP as carrying high impact for advancing cancer knowledge and improving care for our patients. In doing so, the CCRU employs best practices to prioritize and conduct research projects in a transparent, safe, efficient and sustainable fashion.

The Cross Cancer Institute is a stand alone hospital dedicated solely to cancer treatment. The Cross Cancer Institute has outpatient clinics, inpatient beds (45), an onsite laboratory, radiology department, nuclear medicine department and and radiation treatment facilities. The Cross Cancer Institute conducts phase I, II and III clinical trials.
